Voice Training Project also specializes in interpretation skills for singers. This instruction is designed to support the singer whose formal vocal training has not included systematic practice of the dramatic skills. The student is provided with both coaching and long-term tools for building considered, inventive and memorable performances. I bring to this work a lifetime of diction study and performing, years of piano and cello study, years of language study (French, Italian, Japanese), over 25 years of voice and speech teaching, and six years of bel canto study with soprano Christine Sanders, M.A. Voice, now on the faculty at the University of New Mexico. |
